James H. Ferebee, Jr.
Mr. Ferebee is retired from a 45-year career in farming and currently works as a land development consultant. He is a native of Shawboro, North Carolina in Currituck County. He graduated from the North Carolina State University Agriculture Institute in general agriculture and livestock management.
Mr. Ferebee has served on numerous farm-related boards including the North Carolina Goodness Grows Program, President of the North Carolina Fruit and Vegetable Association, and President of the North Carolina Potato Association. He served as a member of the Currituck County Board of Education for eight years.
He is an active member of Providence Baptist Church and volunteers his services for a number of charitable organizations.
