Lanny Wilson, Vice ChairmanMr. Wilson received his bachelor's degree in business administration from East Carolina University and a law degree from Wake Forest University.
Mr. Wilson is Vice Chairman of the Authority’s Board. He also serves as a member of the North Carolina State Board of Transportation, and is currently chair of the Board’s Motor Vehicles, Access Management, and Transportation Improvement Program committees. He serves as Chair of the Wilmington Metropolitan Planning Organization and is a member of the 21st Century Transportation Committee. He previously served for four years on the North Carolina Real Estate Commission. Mr. Wilson was former General Counsel and Vice President of Boney Wilson & Sons, Inc., and is currently involved in several family owned and operated businesses.
