Mr. Spencer graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and currently works as a Senior Vice President in Commercial Banking for RBC Centura in Charlotte. Prior to that he worked for Wachovia Bank for almost 30 years in Corporate and Commercial banking roles as well as Commercial Risk Management.
He is a past chairman of the Gaston County Family YMCA Board and former board member of the Schiele Museum of Natural History and Planetarium. He has served on the board of the Gaston Chamber of Commerce and on its Executive Committee. He has served on numerous other business and civic boards.
Mr. Spencer serves as chair of the Finance Committee.
