Mr. Lackey attended Gaston College, Central Piedmont Community College and The University of Maryland. Bill has been engaged in the real estate business for twenty-five years. He is Vice President of Sales for John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods, Charlotte region. Bill worked for The Allen Tate Company for over 18 years, with twelve years as Senior Vice President.
He served for seven years on The North Carolina Real Estate Commission and currently serves on The North Carolina Housing Finance Board of Directors.
Mr. Lackey was President of the Charlotte Regional Realtor Association in 1996 and was named that organizations Realtor of the Year in 2000. Bill currently serves on the Board of Governors of the Real Estate and Building Industry having chaired that organization in 1998.
