Alan F. Swanstrom
Mr. Swanstrom received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota and Master of Business Administration degree from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
He is retired from a 30-year career at IBM which included executive roles in emerging technology strategy, international standards, business and market development, product development and sales management. Following his IBM career, he launched and evolved a high technology start-up business through market entry.
Mr. Swanstrom currently serves on the Town of Cary Planning and Zoning Board, the Wake County Planning Board and its Transportation Sub-committee, the Conservation Council of North Carolina Board. He is also active in several non-profit and charitable organizations.
