Three (3) Citizens' Informational Workshops (CIWs) were held to present the detailed study alternatives in the next phase of the study process.

1. Tuesday, January 31, 2006: Hunter Huss High School - Gastonia, NC - 4:30 to 8:00 PM
2. Wednesday, February 1, 2006: Olympic High School - Charlotte, NC - 4:30 to 8:00 PM
3. Thursday, February 2, 2006: South Point High School - Belmont, NC - 4:30 to 8:00 PM

February 2005
This project was selected as a candidate toll road project by the North Carolina Turnpike Authority.

January and February 2006
The second series of CIWs took place in January and February 2006. A total of three workshops were held, one on January 31st and two in February (1st and 2nd). Staff was available to meet one-on-one with the public.
